Butte College has been ranked third by College Consensus in their listing of the nation’s best community colleges.
The College Consensus “Best Community Colleges” rankings highlight the nation’s best community colleges and technical colleges. Results of the rankings are determined through a combination of college ranking systems such as WalletHub, Niche, and Grad Reports, along with averaged ratings of thousands of student reviews. Key factors in the determination were Butte College’s 200 degree and certificate programs and the school library, which provides access to textbooks and materials both in-person and online. The well-rounded college experience available to students was also noted.
Butte College provides students with a high quality education at an affordable price through programs such as the Promise Scholarship, which provides up to two years of free tuition and fees for first-time, full-time college students, and Zero Textbook Cost courses.
