Previously knows as the Early Alert, the Roadrunner Cares program offers a process to help a student in crisis receive priority student services with the goal of facilitating success at Butte College.
Staff and faculty can use the Roadrunner Cares Referral Form when a student has acute, urgent, personal concerns that are out of the ordinary and might prevent the student from being successful at Butte College, allowing them a priority pass to access services. The types of concerns that can be reported are academic, basic needs, mental health, referrals to support services and retention. For more information, please contact Student Success Services at (530) 879-6260 or email roadrunnercares@big5vn.com

Every instructor teaching at the Glenn County Center has a mailbox in our Staff Lounge. This allows a place for notes from students, printed materials which may come for you, and correspondence from GCC staff. This room also has a computer, a printer, a phone, a paper cutter, and a Scantron machine. Please check your mailbox.
If your class will be meeting elsewhere, let us know. You can work with your department to fill out the appropriate field trip forms but we need to know how many people to expect in the building and answer questions if students call.
Food bags and basic hygiene products are now available at the Glenn Center. Please refer students to the front office to get a bag of food if they are experiencing food scarcity or homelessness. Additional resources such as basic needs resources, Cal Fresh, and housing referrals are available at the Roadrunner Hub on the Main Campus.
Keys
Campus Police deems it necessary for all faculty to have keys to your classrooms in the event of a Lock Down or emergency situation. You must go to the front office to sign for your keys and have them issued to you. You will return your keys at the end of each semester. If you will be returning to the Glenn Center the following semester, you must sign to extend your due date. If you need access to a space that is locked, ask office staff to open it for you. This process is only for the Glenn Center. For keys at the Chico Center or Main Campus, contact your Department and your Dean will authorize the keys, which you will pick up from Facilities.
For keys at Willows Community High School or Orland High School, please contact the school office.
We have a portable laptop charching station cart for use in the classroom. Please contact front office staff if you wish to use the laptops and we can move it to your room.
We receive and send outgoing intercampus mail via FedEx Monday mornings. Plan accordingly when using the Print Shop to deliver materials. Intercampus mail is sent out to Glenn from the Main Campus on Fridays for delivery on Monday.
