THE POWER OF COMMUNICATION
“What the Greek leader Pericles said more than 2,500 years ago is still true today: ‘One who forms a judgment on any point but cannot explain’ it clearly ‘might as well never have thought at all on the subject’” (Lucas, 2007).
Having solid communication skills is empowering. Studying communication is more fundamental than selecting a major for a job. Communication is the primary social process. Human beings engage in communication to facilitate meaning and to coordinate human activities.
Communication skills are essential to personal, academic and professional success.
